Cheer Force hosts one of the premier cheeleading programs in the state of Arkansas. Cheerleading is a very "inclusive" sport and we specialize in taking students of all ages, sizes, and talents and developing them into "Cheer Athletes." Combining our state-of-the-art facility with our cutting edge curriculums allows each student to maximize his or her talents. We offer something for everyone - recreational or competitive. Our Cheerleading History:
Sonshine Academy was established in 1991 and is owned and operated by Scott & Elsie Rose Wright. The mission of Sonshine Academy is to provide quality instruction in a fun, safe, and wholesome environment. We believe children can experience their “specialness”, their uniqueness as a creation of God by learning athletic and artistic skills in a positive, encouraging environment. In this type of environment not only is their self-esteem affirmed, but they also learn respect for authority and for others. In short, our goal is to cooperate with parents to develop their child’s “ability to shine”.
From the inception, tumbling and cheer classes have been a part of the classes available for student. In 1998 Sonshine Academy’s Cheer Force All Star Program began and has since successfully trained hundreds of cheer athletes. Cheer Force has an incredible staff with years of experience and tons of enthusiasm. They are credentialed in levels 1-5 through USASF (United States All-Star Federation). Cheer Force has multiple All Star squads including both boys and girls ranging in age from 4-18 years. The Cheer Force squads have won multiple State, Regional, and National titles.
Along with competitive All Star cheerleading; tumbling, stunt, and recreational cheer classes are also offered. Our 32,000 sq. ft. climate controlled, state-of-the-art facility gives every athlete the opportunity to learn new skills in a safe and fun environment.
