After School Care Program

Sonshine Academy’s Sunbow After School Kid Care

Program Philosophy

 

Sonshine Academy’s After School Care Program is grounded in the belief that children are unique, special creations of God and they need to be in a safe, positive, and relaxed atmosphere at the end of the school day. We have designed a program in which children will have the opportunity to play informal games, have a snack, and receive homework assistance. Many enrichment opportunities including projects (craft, educational, life-skills), instructional games, will be a regular part of the program. In addition, Sonshine Academy offers the added convenience of students being able to participate in the extra-curricular activities that are offered. This is valuable to parents because at the end of their workday much of their child’s after school activities are already completed.

Ages: Students Kindergarten through 6th grade

Hours of Operation: After school until 6:00 p.m.

Fees: $33/individual (or $53/family) Annual Registration Fee
           $35 Supply Fee per semester
           $258 per month

Payment Procedures: Payments may be made monthly by Automatic Bank or Credit Card Draft, check, or cash.

Registration Procedures: A $35 Supply Fee (for 1st semester) is required with the Registration Form (which can be picked up in the office), along with $129.00 for August care. In addition, if your child’s or family’s annual Registration Fee is due then that will need to be paid as well. This will ensure that a space is held for your child. Note: The fees required to register (Supply Fee, August tuition, and Registration Fee) are all non-refundable. Children are admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.
