Sonshine Academy offers Dance Companies for those students who are more serious about the study of dance and are interested in performance. Students are selected through an invitation process. In addition, pre-company classes are offered for more advanced students who are preparing for Company Classes.

Requirements for company:

· Students are expected to maintain consistent attendance to all classes in which they are enrolled.
· Dancers are to be prompt for class.
· Dancers should be dressed properly in their company attire before the class begins.
· If a dancer is not properly attired, they will be asked to watch class and take notes that day. This is to ensure the safety of the dancer. It is not possible to participate “safely” without proper shoes or clothing.
· All students choosing to participate in a company jazz class must also be enrolled in a ballet class.
· No food, drink, or gum is allowed in the studio.
· Dancers are to show respect to their teacher and fellow students at all times.
